Another layout

Finally took a picture of the layout I finished using the May SD4U kit.

lazy weekend

I hope you had a great weekend. Ours was pretty lazy. I had plans of heading over to belks for my face wash and sneaking in to Anthropologie. But we ended up at walmart. Big let down ;) But our big boys bedroom is upstairs and it gets so hot. All the kids like to play up there and with the computers on all the time, it adds to the heat. So we bought then an air conditioning unit. It is working great. and since they were used to it being really hot they are not trying to all of a sudden keep it 70 :) We bought the baby an exersaucer too. SHe is enjoying it and I keep finding Luke trying to climb into it. Very funny.

Oh yes, swimsuit season

If I didn't love summer I would just skip the whole swimsuit thing altogether. It's not just because I am currently 30 pounds overweight and cringe at the thought of showing my body in a swimsuit. Oh no. It is the thought that I have to find cute but modest suits for 3 girls. But I managed to do it.

For mom: (who really hopes that this will cover the roll of baby fat currently rolling over her waistband)





For Emma: (who picked this out herself, we didn't ask her to make it this modest. She thought it would be more fun to play in than a regular suit)




For Molly: ( except hers is one I bought last year and is a tankini)



and for Katie: ( who at 14 is so hard to shop for. The balance between fun, girlish and too matronly)




Ok looking at Katie's makes me realize I ordered the wrong color bottoms. Oops. Now I will need to return and exchange them. Oh well. At least I found her something cute but covering :)

So long no post

Too much to do and not enough time to do it seems to be my motto the past couple of weeks. 7 children to teach, laundry that multiplies overnight 1 preschooler, 1 toddler and 1 fussy baby :)Plus hubby was out of town for those 2 weeks too. But he is home safe and sound.
