Has anyone seen my spoons?

Please tell me I am not the only one with kids that do this. I had noticed several months back that our spoon supply was running short. Hummmmmmmm. So I bought 16 more at Target. So we roughly had those 16 + 16 more. 32 spoons seems like a good number. The other morning I went to get out the spoons for cereal. We had 7 spoons. I look in the dishwasher. Nope no spoons. Very curious. So while at Sam's Club that day we happened by the restaurant supply area. 36 sppons for 8$. I spent 16$ at Target for the 16. So we are pretty well stocked up. Of course they do not match the rest of our set. But beggars cannot be choosers. Hubby did find 4 in the backyard in the dirt. I suppose the rest of them are buried. Maybe they are being used for a treasure hunt?

Do you love pretty, frilly or funky aprons? I found the best book the other day.

I bought mine here: Barnes and Noble at my local store. But you can find it here too.

The only downside is that you have to take the pattern into a print shop to print at 400 %. But the cost at kinkos was 2.50 for each print. SO fairly cheap. I went ahead and printed up 3 patterns. I am making a smock type apron first. It will be for my 10 y/o that asked for an apron for her birthday. The book does have 2 children's patterns but they are for the little ones. I figured that the smock style would be fine for my daughter.SOme really fun aprons in this book. Now to dust off my sewing machine.

looks like an adorable book! I'd love a fun & funky apron! So, if you decide to make and sell any, let me know because my sewing skills are naught. ;) Silverware disappears at our house too. I've decided somehow it must get thrown away. Anything's possible with a 2 year old, right?

If it's any consolation, the Pioneer Woman is having the same problem with spoons.... :)
