Scrapbook goodness

I realized that I have not shown you the March kit peeks from SD4U. Such fun kits.

Here is the one I have been playing with. I have to say, I am really liking this new scrapbook company, Jillibean Soup. I had a very hard time picking what side of the paper to use. Yep, double sided!



and here is the other kit. It features dream street paper. It comes with stickles :)

It's almost Friday! and other randomness

First I forgot to give a cut off for the giveaway. So let's say the 5th of March.

Hubby has been gone off and on for 2 weeks. He will be home tomorrow. I am looking forward to having him home.

I have been working on some layouts for SD4U. Tomorrow I will take pictures and share some peeks on my blog.

About half the kids are sick, including the baby. So not fun.

I don't think I have taken a picture in a week. That must be a record for me.

Hopefully I will get some sleep tinight and have some energy. I feel kind of blah today.

Sorry I did not post last night. Our internet went out until this afternoon. Must have been the storm passign through.

Ok romance is not really my topic. :) But in honor of the past weekend being valentine's day here is my most favorite romantic song

In 2 days my baby will be 3 months old. Already! I find that so amazing. She weighs 14 lbs. She's a good eater :)

Do you have a word for the year? My word last year was joy.I think I did a good job on focusing on the joy in life. My year wasn't always joyful in itself but there is always joy to be found if you allow the Lord to reveal himself to you. This year my word is intention. The definition of intention is: purpose: an anticipated outcome that is intended or that guides your planned actions.My word could have been purpose too. But I liked intention better. I intend to allow the Lord to use me. Intend to be a better wife and mother. I intend to be less selfish. Intention covers so much of how I want to be. So what is your word?

and here is a card I did for a challenge over at the Hero Arts blog. I used a Hero Arts heart stamp and punched it out with heart trio punch from Stampin' up. Ink colors used are Kiwi Kiss and Red Riding Hood Red both from Stampin' Up. Bazzil cardstock and string from the crafts store.

The month of loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Time seems to just be flying by lately. I just haven't been able to get back into blogging mode since moving. I also found facebook. It's a little addicting. Not that I spend much time there. But when you only have a little free time in the first place, it only stretches to so many things. But seriously, it has ben fun to reconnect with old friends and my family members that are far away. I have been taking pictures like crazy, well, whenever it is sunny :)

Still trying to settle in here. Hopefully we will find a church soon and start making friends. I miss having people to hang out with.
