I scrapbook because it's a great creative release! I also love to watch my children's reaction when they look at their albums and relive their past memories.
I scrap for many reasons. But honestly, I simply love pretty paper and scrapbooking allows me to be creative and share memories on paper with word and art. I simply...love it!
I scrap for stress relief. After using the analytical side of my mind day in and day out- it is nice to get creative and get my hands dirty.
I am just a scrapbook "wannabe"... I go to parties, buy supplies, but they just sit there...

I scrapbook because of the legacy it leaves behind. I love to look back and see the growth and change. I hope the books will become cherished family heirlooms one day.

I like scrapbooking for a lot of different reasons. I think it's a stress reliever, I love playing with pens, paper, and scissors (and always have), I like being creative, and I like to know I'm leaving something behind that my family can lay their hands on and know I did it because I cared. I also like the thoughts of some other generation (grandchild, great grandchild, etc) someday in the future looking through my albums and knowing who there family was because of them.
I scrapbook to make memos of daily or occasional moments [in case I have amnesia...haha]. I actually find it very soothing as it distracts my mind and de-stresses myself from my busy 'work' life.
